Established in 1987 and characterised by functionality and design, FOS CERAMICHE produces collections of home furnishings, constantly balancing aesthetics and technics.
FOS is the acronym for Form - Object - Surface. These three concepts lay at the basis of the productive planning of our firm. We consider that total quality is a crucial matter and we work by means of a steady stylistic research and with the utmost care for details.
The entire production is realized in porcelain , material which manufacturing technologies give each item technical and aesthetic features that are exclusive in their genre.
The design of the collections, for a classical material such as porcelain, defines new standards emphasising the bisquit (that is, unglazed porcelain). Mechanical resistance and hardness of the ceramic body, obtained by a high firing temperature (1250°C), are supported by surface chromatic effects, which are never perfectly regular, making each object unrepeatable, and so unique.
Glazes are realized exclusively inside our firm, and are distinguishable thanks to their quality. FOS is to be found in the major specialized fairs, being in this way actively present both in the home market and in the international market of furnishings.
